Setup guide

On your tap in 3 minutes.

Unscrew the aerator, screw on the adapter, twist on the filter. That's the whole job for every InFlow™ tap filter. Below: the checks to do first, a video for each product, the adapter sizing charts and the printed manuals.

Before you start

Six quick checks for the tap filters.

Tap Filter, Stainless Steel Pro and Beauty Filter. Takes a minute and saves a leak later.

Check the thread size

Your tap thread should be between 16mm and 24mm across. Adapters in the box: 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 24mm.

Removable aerator

The mesh cap at the end of the spout should unscrew by hand. That's what the adapter threads onto.

Inside or outside thread

Thread on the outside of the spout: use a female adapter. Thread inside: use a male adapter. Pick the one that screws onto your tap.

Water pressure

The filter works best between 0.1 and 0.4MPa, which is normal mains pressure in Australian homes.

Seal ring in place

Put the thickest seal ring between the two halves of the filter before you screw it together. Most leaks are a missing ring.

Flush the tap

Run the tap for a few seconds before installing to clear any debris out of the spout.

Video setup guides

Watch yours, start to finish.

Each one is a couple of minutes. Pick your filter and your tap type.

Adapter sizing

Find the adapter that fits your tap.

Every adapter has its size engraved on the side. Threads on the outside of the spout take a female adapter, threads on the inside take a male adapter. No thread at all? Use the M22 Universal clamp-on: slide it over the spout and tighten the metal clamp.

Tap Filter and Beauty Filter adapters.

Stainless Steel Pro metal adapters.

Deep male threads: the Long M22

Screw the Long M22 (B-M22HX) onto a 16, 18 or 20mm metal adapter to make a longer male or female adapter for taps with a deeper thread.

No thread: the Universal adapter

The wide end wraps around the spout, the threaded end screws into the female M22 adapter. Tighten the hose clamp with a flathead screwdriver or a butter knife, then set up as normal.
